Refund & Billing Policy

This Refund & Billing Policy explains how pricing, payments, and refunds work on StartSieve. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have under EU or local law.
1.Pricing, credits, and subscriptions
StartSieve may offer pay-as-you-go credits and subscription plans. The price, included usage, billing period, and any expiry rules are shown before you buy. Taxes (such as VAT) are applied where required and shown at checkout.
Credits may be deducted when an evaluation starts, completes, or reaches another clearly disclosed milestone. Promotional credits may have different expiry or transfer rules than purchased credits.
2.Your EU right of withdrawal
If you are an EU consumer, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Because StartSieve delivers digital content and services immediately, you agree that performance begins straight away and you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day withdrawal right once the service has been fully performed (for example, once an evaluation using purchased credits has run).
This does not limit your other statutory rights, including where a service is faulty or not as described.
3.Our 7-day refund promise
On top of your statutory rights, we offer a simple promise: if your verdict is useless within 7 days of purchase, email us and we will refund you — no interrogation. We may decline refunds where there is clear abuse of this promise.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within a reasonable period. Refunds of partially used credit packs may be pro-rated for credits already consumed.
4.Cancellation and failed payments
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account — one-click cancel. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise. We do not generally refund the unused part of a current period except where required by law or our 7-day promise.
If a payment fails, we may retry it, pause paid features, or downgrade the account until payment succeeds. We will let you know before access is affected.
5.How to request a refund
Email support@startsieve.com from your account email, telling us what you bought and why. We aim to respond quickly and to resolve valid requests without friction.
